Interview patients to gather medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results in electronic medical records Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing Assist physicians in patient examinations, providing instruments and materials Administer injections and remove sutures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms by cleaning and restocking Sterilize instruments and manage contaminated supplies Conduct phone consultations regarding test results and health concerns Process specimens for lab pick-up, ensuring proper labeling and packaging Perform phlebotomy and diagnostic tests as necessary Administer prescribed oral, intramuscular, SubQ, and topical medications Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care Maintain stocked exam rooms, checking for expired supplies and managing biohazard waste Support OSHA compliance through participation in safety programs Engage in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance healthcare delivery Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required BLS/CPR Certification required Up to one year of experience in a related field Exceptional communication and customer service skills Basic front desk, clerical, or healthcare support specialist skills Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to preventive healthcare and a team-oriented approach Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office applications Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Phlebotomy skills preferred Experience with electronic medical records preferred About Legacy Community Health
