Pay: $16.15 Hourly Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the daily operations of the Juvenile Detention Facility, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and maintaining accurate records and communications. Job Description

Essential Job Functions: Serve as administrative liaison for facility leadership; manage calls, calendars, and visitor coordination. Process incoming/outgoing mail, including legal and resident correspondence, ensuring accurate logging and distribution. Maintain organized filing systems for resident records, reports, logs, and schedules. Enter and manage data in facility tracking systems, including incident and supervision logs. Handle detention admission and release documentation; support transition to electronic records. Maintain confidential juvenile and personnel files in compliance with OJA, ACA, and county standards. Assist with disciplinary documentation, visitation scheduling, and inventory of office supplies and forms. Retrieve resident supervision logs daily from each housing unit. Collect outgoing resident mail from the Admission Specialist and process logging and taking to the mailroom. Follow PREA procedures, ensuring gender sensitivity and mandatory reporting. Perform other clerical tasks assigned by administrative staff. Additional Job Description

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Knowledge of general office practice; federal, state, and local laws; and codes and regulations as pertaining to Juvenile. Skill Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems; attention to detail and organizational; interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive records; deal effectively with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; stressful situations, remain calm, and present a professional manner in hostile situations; and maintain effective working relationships with staff, residents, and members of the community. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet and Word Processing software. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience: High school or GED required. One year of work experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be at least 21 years of age- defined by Oklahoma Administrative Code
