Compensation: $22.00 Hour Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Assist Payroll Specialist with verifying accuracy of timesheets for the County's biweekly payroll. Maintains filing system for finance department. Provides back-up administrative support and receptionist functions for the department; assist with other office support duties as required. Verify payroll changes prior to entering the information into the system. Assist the Payroll Specialist with verifying the accuracy of timesheets for the County's biweekly payroll. Maintains the filing systems for the Finance Department. Assist with processing monthly and quarterly reports for payroll. Assist with scanning payroll files and timesheets. Assist with annual audit as needed. Cross train with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist with 1099 processing and verification. Performs administrative task for the Finance Director. Provides backup administrative support and receptionist functions for the department. High school diploma with coursework in accounting or related field and some experience in an accounting or fiscal office environment.
