Logistics Call Center Representative
As a logistics coordinator, you will serve as a remote gate agent, supporting numerous drivers nationwide. Using two-way audio/video communication, you'll verify truck specifications and coordinate the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at various facilities. This role demands extreme attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills, as you will interact with approximately 200 drivers daily. Responsibilities
Act as a remote gate agent, providing support to drivers across the country. Utilize two-way audio/video communication to verify truck specifications. Coordinate and communicate updates regarding warehouse, facility, and distribution center operations. Manage gate operations to allow on-site associates to focus on other tasks. Engage in clear and effective communication with approximately 200 drivers daily. Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service orientation. Excellent phone etiquette. Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and adherence to standard operating procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of high-volume call center customer support experience or strong retail customer service experience. Demonstrated strong job tenure. Tech-savvy with experience in logistics, intermodal operations, and call center environments. Great customer skills and awareness. Work Environment
This role requires on-site presence five days a week. Training occurs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for three weeks, with the first day extending to 5:30 pm. Mandatory overtime is expected during peak seasons from October to January, adding a sixth workday with 10-hour shifts. Pay and Benefits
