The College of Engineering Dean's Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the executive leadership team. This role will serve as the front desk coordinator, schedule meetings, initiate reimbursements, and greet visitors to the Deans' suite. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to collaboration, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment. The Administrative Assistant supports the general administrative functions of a wide variety of administrative units, including: Plan, organize, support, and coordinate daily office activities and administrative processes Greet visitors and provide information; review, respond to, and direct inquiries Provide support for scheduling, personal calendars, and travel arrangements Compose, review, and distribute internal and external communications Create and maintain files and databases Serve as primary liaison and initiator with Finance HUBs for the completion of accurate financial transactions Maintain inventory and order office supplies Support and coordinate special events; reserve spaces, develop itineraries, prepare materials, coordinate work between teams, and serve as a point of contact with vendors Interview, train, and direct the work of student personnel Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications: General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Certifications: None. The successful candidate is preferred to have: A dedication to building relationships with various communities Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills A proven ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team A commitment to professional development, learning, and being mentored Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills How to Apply: To be considered, candidates must submit a cover letter and resume.
