Automotive Contract Clerk
The Automotive Contract Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation, such as new and used car deals, dealer trades, reconciliation of schedules, pay offs, posting EFTs, etc. This position will handle primarily used car contracts. The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, or certification) and at least 1 year of experience as a contract clerk. He or she can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills. Processing vehicle sales transactions Verifying information for the accounting department Breaking down deal paperwork and submitting finance contracts to banks Ensuring contracts are paid in a timely manner Reporting new sales transactions Processing registrations for vehicles and submitting all information to DMV Maintaining a list of all outstanding titles and reporting status to department managers Generating and maintaining the salesperson's commission reports and list of commissions on hold Preparing payoff checks for trade-ins and applying for titles as needed Maintaining clean schedules appropriate for job duties Providing administrative support to management, other departments, and employees as needed Any other duties as assigned by supervisor Accounts payable and receivable experience a plus ADP Drive System and DMV desk experience a plus Qualifications
Must have 1 year automotive experience (ONLY AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE NEED APPLY) Must be extremely professional Must possess good organization skills Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area Good attendance required.
