Job Description

As Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain schedules and budgets.
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met at every phase of the project.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and schedules.
  • Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to provide project updates.
  • Oversee material deliveries and inventory to ensure timely availability of resources.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:
  • Proven experience in managing commercial or multi-family construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and on-site teams.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software is a plus.
