Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and dependable Construction Foreman to manage and lead commercial sitework projects in Essex, Middlesex, and Suffolk counties. This is a critical on-site leadership role responsible for day-to-day coordination and execution of field activities while ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Job tasks include: excavation, utility install, land clearing, grubbing, grading, dewatering, road/parking lot construction, site improvements, demolition, and retaining and seawall construction. Key Responsibilities:

Ability to run a crew, including equipment operators and truck drivers

Aid in continued hiring and training of new laborers

Organize and lead ground break meetings to establish project plans with field crews

Coordinate with the Operations Manager to assess lead times and availability for crews, materials, and equipment

Clearly understand and communicate project managers’ intent to the site crews

Monitor and update the project schedule regularly based on current progress and material lead times

Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate timely services and deliveries

Supervise and direct field personnel, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and timeline expectations
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a foreman or laborer in heavy civil and/or commercial construction

Proven track record coordinating field operations, subcontractors, and schedules

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate crews and resolve issues on-site

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Highly detail- and deadline-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
