Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team on apart-time basis. This position will play a vital role in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial demolition projects while working closely with our project managers to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
• Utilize estimating software to create detailed pricing models.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data necessary for estimating purposes.
• Prepare detailed reports on estimates, including breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to facilitate effective communication during the estimating process.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating; preferably in demolition.
• Proficiency in estimating software is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering plans.
• Knowledge of cost control measures and pricing strategies within the construction industry.
• Excellent math and analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing estimates and reports.
• Must be reliable, organized, and a strong communicator.
