This is a hybrid role based out of our GEIS Headquarters in Syracuse, NY facility. The Syracuse, NY site core competencies are iron & aluminum foundries, machining, plating, and assembly. Manufacturing about 1 million units per month, the Syracuse team places high value on talented professionals who are focused on problem solving and efficiency. This position is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific orders ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and to ensure that objectives for the company and customer are met. The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,253.0 - $78,104.4 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. What you'll do: In this role you will: Deliver an exceptional customer experience with proactive communication, orchestrating the right internal resources, and effectively using the customer engagement model to evolve customer business goals. Act as a trusted customer point of contact, define measurable success plan with clear outcomes, and ensure cohesive communication across internal and customer audiences. Enforce company policies and ensure that order and return transactions follow current Terms and Conditions and GTM requirements. Oversee company applicable regulations including but not limited to U.S Trade compliance, DOT, IATA, and ITAR Regulations. Contribute to the ongoing initiatives to continuously improve our approach to secure our customers success efficiently and effectively. Identify, document, and work closely with the Customer Support Operations team to implement business and system improvements to scale up current processes. Work with cross-organizational and functional stakeholders to develop and evolve long-term strategies while driving tactical activities. Exercise judgment and discretion and make decisions in area of responsibility, such as methods, timeline and resources needed to deliver on expectations. Serve as the subject matter expert and key contact point for order entry front-end processes for all order types or back-end transaction processing. Serve as the initial escalation point for transaction processing and order entry representatives regarding issue resolution. Analyze, prioritize, respond to, improve, expedite, coordinate and schedule customer's requests and orders to effectively service customer and distributor requirements. Ensure processes are documented and standardized and training provided in accordance with training plan so that tools & procedures developed are sustainable. Recommend products or possible substitutions of products to satisfy customer requirements and meet applicable customer specifications.
