Part-Time Undergraduate Student Program Assistant

The Student Leadership and Involvement Office has openings for a part-time, undergraduate Student Program Assistant, designed to provide undergraduate students with hands-on learning experiences that will help them to develop valuable and transferable skills. The Program Assistant monitors the office main phone line, answers questions posed by visitors, and provides a welcoming environment. This includes immediately addressing visitors as they approach the desk and following procedures outlined in the employee manual. The Program Assistant is familiar with the operations and programming held within the HUB-Robeson Center and provides exceptional customer service; be present and aware of your surroundings; keep the front desk area clean; be prompt; provide administrative, program planning and implementation assistance to the professional staff when needed; continually learn office processes including but not limited to data entry and other tasks as assigned; accept program fee payments via LionCash+ and checks, accept contracts and assist with the contract process; possess strong oral communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, have a positive attitude, and exhibit a professional image.
