Senior Executive Assistant
An Addison Group client is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant. Job Responsibilities: Manage and organize the CEO's complex calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and prioritization of meetings, events, and commitments. Prepare the CEO for meetings by gathering and organizing background materials, agendas, and briefing documents, coordinating with both internal staff and external stakeholders. Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other written communications on behalf of the CEO. Coordinate executive travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries, schedules, and logistics. Provide administrative support to the CEO and senior leadership, including arranging meetings, screening calls and emails, and welcoming visitors. Serve as a key point of contact between executive leadership, staff, and external partners, representing the organization with professionalism and discretion. Prepare notes, summaries, and follow-up documentation from meetings, and ensure communication of key decisions and action items. Collaborate with colleagues in the Executive Office to support overall workflow, offering backup assistance as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the executive team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years' experience supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced office environment. Prior experience in a nonprofit, academic, or mission-driven institution strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex scheduling, documentation, and competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
