Bookeeper / Full Time / On-site $80,000 - $90,000 a year Job Title: On-Site Bookkeeper Location: Woodland Hills, CA Position Type: Full-Time (On-Site) Overview: We are a reputable and growing law firm seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing the firm's day-to-day financial operations and reports directly to the owner. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping, preferably within a professional services or legal environment, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and client invoicing Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare financial statements and reports for review by the firm owner Manage payroll and related tax filings in coordination with payroll provider Monitor trust account activity to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards Track and allocate expenses to appropriate matters or clients Support budgeting and financial planning processes Coordinate with the firm's CPA or external accountant as needed Maintain financial records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role (2+ years preferred) Proficiency with QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) Bookkeeping or accounting certification a plus Working Conditions: This position requires on-site presence during regular business hours Professional office environment within a law firm setting
