Medical Receptionist
Location: Hattiesburg, MS Pay Rate: $13 - $15 per hour PrideStaff is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position ideal for a candidate seeking a position with room for growth. In this role, the Medical Receptionist serves as the main point of contact for all visitors and guests in addition to performing the following tasks: Job Requirements: Greets patients as they arrive at the facility. Assists patients in completing all necessary forms and documentation. Updates patients' information within the EMR database. Answers telephone and handles patient inquiries. Calls patients and reminds them of their appointments. Schedules and reschedules patients' appointments. Protects patient and family privacy rights and maintains confidentiality of patient records in accordance with policy and procedure and HIPAA requirements. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities: Great customer service and phone etiquette. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in customer service (preferred). At least 1 year experience working in a medical office environment preferred. High School diploma or equivalent (required). Willing to complete a background check and drug screen. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $13.00 - $15.00 Per Hour
