PeopleShare is looking for an Accounting Clerk (direct hire position) for a client in Norfolk, VA! Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Salary: $50,000 annually Why Work Here? Great Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and holidays Retirement Plan: 3% employer contribution Growth Opportunity: Work on diverse tasks and support key financial functions Job Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices, bills, and expense reports Prepare and maintain accounting records and general ledger entries Reconcile accounts, credit card statements, and variances Record sales, COGS, and expenses for gift shop Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual reports and audits Manage accounts payable/receivable in QuickBooks Online Support administrative and record-keeping tasks as needed Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with AR/AP, reconciliations, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) QuickBooks experience preferred (training available for the right candidate) Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and administrative skills Trustworthy with confidential data Additional Info: Background check and drug test required Light lifting (under 25 lbs.)
