Intercompany Accountant

The Intercompany Accountant will be a critical member of our treasury and general accounting team. They will be responsible for managing and reconciling the intercompany account for our various legal entities. This role will work closely with other members of the finance and accounting team to resolve discrepancies that are identified in our intercompany account. Position is open to a hybrid work environment.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

• Match and reconcile financial records between our various legal entities, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
• Ensure timely and accurate intercompany reconciliations, working with various legal entities to resolve any discrepancies
• Partner with the Accounts Payable and Treasury team to settle intercompany transactions on a monthly basis
• Implement process improvements for intercompany settlements, transactions and reconciliations
• Create journal entries and adjustments when necessary
• Assist in ensuring we have an effective control environment
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, as needed In addition to key responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the company may reasonably require

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
• Must have good working knowledge of US GAAP accounting
• Ability to manage time effectively

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
• Familiarity with GAAP reporting and Sarbanes Oxley
• Ability to enhance and adapt processes, procedures and related documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Workday experience is a plus
