Overview

• Maintenance of accounting systems for governmental and proprietary funds, assuring that general and subsidiary ledgers are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Preparation of interim and annual financial statements, reports, analyses, and reconciliations.
• Assisting with developing, modifying, installing, and maintaining accounting systems and internal controls.
• Working with County departments and internal and external auditors in assigned areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include at least one additional year of professional accounting experience.
• Possession of or candidate for a CPA certificate.
• Experience in spreadsheet and word processing software.

Starting annual salary range: $61,110.40 - $76,377.60
