Pediatric Health Associates Front Office Assistant

Located in Plainview, New York 11803

Tues 8-7pm, Thurs 12-5pm, Friday 7:30-7pm, Sat 7:30-1pm.

Full-Time Schedule:

• Tuesday: 8:00AM- 7:00PM
• Thursday: 12:00PM 5:00PM
• Friday: 7:30AM 7:00PM
• Saturday: 7:30AM 1:00PM

What You'll Do:

Be the welcoming presence greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism. Keep us on track schedule appointments, check in patients, and maintain the front desk flow. Be the voice of the practice answer calls, triage messages, and make sure patients get the right information quickly. Handle the details collect co-pays, verify insurance, and manage patient balances. Keep records organized scan documents, file charts, and make sure everything is up to date in the system. Support patients beyond the visit provide referrals, prepare school forms for physician signature, and help families understand medical office policies. Assist with billing print bills and support the administrative flow of the practice.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required. 35 years of medical receptionist experience required. (medical office required; pediatrics a plus!). Experience with EMR systems required (Athena and Phreesia a bonus). Excellent customer service, multitasking, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
