Now Hiring: Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Receptionist
Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Receptionists to join our compassionate, fast-paced, and friendly team.

Veterinary Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and obtain accurate contact information and pet medical histories

  • Assist in bringing pets to the treatment area and restraining them during exams and procedures

  • Support veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments

  • Perform basic care tasks including wound cleaning, administering medication, collecting samples, and checking vitals

  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and lab work (e.g., blood and urine samples)

  • Prepare medications for clients to take home and explain basic usage

  • Educate clients on vaccinations and basic pet care

  • Sterilize tools and maintain clean, stocked exam and operating rooms

  • Update patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Veterinary Receptionist – Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls professionally and courteously; gather client information and schedule appointments

  • Greet clients warmly and provide necessary information or assistance

  • Monitor and manage emails in a timely and organized manner

  • Provide basic appointment and care information to clients

  • Check and respond to messages via email and veterinary software systems

  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk, lobby, and restrooms

  • Check in and check out patients accurately and efficiently

  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and assist clients with follow-up scheduling

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting

  • Passion for working with animals and providing excellent client service

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to restrain larger pets safely when needed

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a flexible and team-oriented mindset

  • Reliable and punctual with good time management
