Continental Maritime of San Diego, a Titan company, is a certified Master Ship Repair Contractor for the U.S. Navy. Our skilled professionals have performed hundreds of ship repairs for the Navy and Military Sealift Command. CMSD does repair on all types of major surface vessels including CVN, CG, and DDG, and all types of amphibious ships including LHD, LHA, LSD, LPD, and auxiliary ships. Our work also includes repairs and alterations to a wide range of Combatant, Hull, Mechanical and Electrical, and Habitability Systems.
Position Specifics: Continental Maritime of San Diego is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leadman to support our operations. Qualified individual must be able to read schematics and blueprints, accomplish ship alterations with minimal supervision, and troubleshoot and repair various electrical systems on Naval Ships. Other required knowledge includes, but is not limited to, the ability to recognize electrical or electronic devices and circuitry used throughout the Maritime industry and knowledge of power distribution and equipment. Must also be competent in generating IDR's (CFR) reports. This individual will be responsible for supervising and managing a crew to accomplish electrical installs onboard ship, as well as the coordination between trades and providing accurate information in order to accomplish a variety of tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to acquire a DBIDS credential is required.
- Complete understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
- Must have two to three years of experience working at the Leadman level.
- Frequently moves throughout the shipyard
- Works at heights and in confined spaces
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders/ramps, aboard ships in shipyards under industrial conditions and in confined spaces
- Must be able to move heavy equipment and boxes, weighing up to 40 pounds
- May be exposed to rapid changes in microclimates, industrial processes, and other environmental factors while collecting data, providing directions, and observing performance of task teams
