CACI is seeking a Business Requirements Analyst to join our Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering team on a contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security. This role reports to the PMO Manager and works closely with Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and Engineers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with infrastructure and cloud migration projects, translating business needs and value into technical project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  • Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Identify and establish the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or leveraging these processes.
  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Develop and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and the project team.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst
  • Attention to detail and resourcefulness
  • Experience using Kanban boards and agile methodologies
  • Expert of Scrum methodologies
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Desired:

  • Previous DHS or DoD experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow Agile 2.0 and SPM
  • Certifications such as: Certified Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation, PMP, or other IT technical certifications

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is $103,800 - $218,100. Final salary is influenced by location, experience, skills, and certifications. CACI offers competitive compensation, benefits, and learning and development opportunities.
