This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Sales Senior Business Analyst plays a key role by supporting Business Analytics for the Celebrity Sales organization. The primary responsibilities include analyzing, implementing, and administering sales compensation programs. The role involves creating and maintaining accurate forecasts for sales incentives, managing Sales Compensation plans, and tracking sales organization metrics. The analyst will work closely with the Sales team, IT, and senior analysts to develop reliable reporting structures and identify revenue opportunities. Additionally, the role includes ad-hoc data analysis and provisioning to support management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to incentive compensation calculations and accruals.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends across regions, products, accounts, markets, or segments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales compensation systems and processes, including report and dashboard development.
- Develop and maintain interactive analytics reports and dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Maintain and implement compensation plans for all sales bonus-eligible roles.
- Provide plan modeling, cost analysis, and review of business trends.
- Offer guidance, training, and support to Sales Managers on data querying and reporting tools.
- Coordinate with Total Rewards, HR, and payroll for plan approval and payments.
- Build relationships with Sales Managers, Directors, Executives, and colleagues across departments.
- Participate in developing specifications, policies, and procedures for the area.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelors degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial or business analysis preferred.
- Masters degree (MBA or MA) preferred.
- Experience with Sales or Marketing is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for multicultural communication at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
- Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
