Employer: CM-COM – Candidate will be employed by CM-COM and assigned to support a major public agency client in the New York region
Pay Rate: $145,000 – $195,000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Senior System Business Analyst
Description of Services
The Engineering Solutions Unit supports project delivery and reporting through consultation, development, testing, and implementation of system applications and workflows. The group maintains and supports engineering platforms and serves as a liaison between business units and IT.
CMCOM is seeking a Senior System Business Analyst to provide on-site consulting services supporting this client’s engineering technology initiatives.
Consultant Services
Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but are not limited to:
- Gather intelligence from subject matter experts about needs and future improvements.
- Elicit, document, and analyze requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews.
- Assess current software development processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process optimizations.
- Manage change requests and coordinate implementation with stakeholder committees.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria).
- Support applications and workflows, including full-stack .NET/React solutions and enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, OpenText Content Server, eBuilder).
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.
- Perform SQL Server querying, profiling, and ETL processes (SSIS).
- Define QA/testing strategies, develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, or C#), conduct testing, and ensure compliance reviews.
- Prepare user guides, training materials, and deliver in-person/online training.
- Provide general help desk support as part of the Applications Support Team.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- 3+ years of demonstrated Business Analysis in full-stack web application development.
- 2+ years of Business Analysis in enterprise platform applications.
- 2+ years SQL Server database querying and profiling.
- 1+ year each in: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, workflow design (Miro/Visio), Azure DevOps, API testing/automation (Postman, Playwright, Pytest).
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or C#.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, programming logic, data flows, and system integrations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Soft Skills
- Strong analysis and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and adaptable.
Preferred
- UI/UX design (Figma or similar).
- Enterprise Content Management (OpenText, SharePoint).
- Azure File Share administration.
- Experience with eBuilder and DocuSign.
- Experience supporting construction industry project/document management systems.
- Prior experience with large public agencies or utilities.

CMCOM invites qualified Electrical Engineers to join our team on a key infrastructure consulting engagement. As a consultant providing engineering support services to the Port Authority, CMCOM will deploy the selected candidate to serve within the Engineering Department’s Design Standards Unit (DSU). The position focuses on peer reviewing Tenant Alteration Applications (TAA), including medium-voltage systems and other critical electrical design elements.
CMCOM Assignment Scope:
CMCOM is seeking resumes for one Electrical Engineer to support the Design Standards Unit as part of our consultant contract. The role involves working on-site and/or remotely as directed. Responsibilities include reviewing electrical design documents (above 600 volts), performing design audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and Port Authority technical standards. Key tasks include assessing TAA submissions, validating load calculations, preparing technical memoranda, coordinating interdisciplinary reviews, and engaging with tenant architects/engineers and facility staff.

•\tReview tenant electrical designs for completeness, accuracy, and code compliance
•\tAnalyze medium-voltage system configurations, arc flash studies, and UPS/load coordination
•\tTrack reviews and comments via e-Builder, Bluebeam, and SharePoint

•\tParticipate in design resolution meetings and stakeholder briefings
Minimum Candidate Requirements:
