The Mercedes Medical Centers is hiring: Cleaning Assistant in Hialeah

The Cleaning Assistant ensures the cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the facilities. The position involves performing cleaning and maintenance tasks while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Sweeping, mopping and keeping floors clean in all areas of the facility.
• Collect and properly dispose of waste and recycling materials.
• Clean toilets and replenish supplies regularly.
• Dust and polish furniture, walls and equipment.
• Wash windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
• Notifies management of major repair needs or safety issues.
• Prepares and organizes areas for events, including decorations and seating arrangements.
• Assists in preparing and serving refreshments in designated areas.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance functions is an asset.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 15 kilograms.
