Overview

Solutions Consultant 2 - Intel Community (Federal). This role is part of Palo Alto Networks’ Solutions Consulting team, focused on customer environments, solution guidance, and value realization across on-prem, cloud, and security operations services. The purpose is to secure customer business imperatives and position PANW as the cybersecurity partner of choice. Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions. Understand key customer business requirements and articulate, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio to create business value for customers. Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform by building relationships and helping customers achieve increased productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and greater flexibility to innovate. Conduct discovery to identify the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers. Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing adoption of solutions. Demonstrate strong communication skills through effective presentations and customer-specific demos; lead technical engagements and workshops that simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences. Lead technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure a technical win in assigned opportunities. Provide cross-functional leadership to orchestrate supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a cohesive, one-team approach. Promote end-to-end solutions that include PANW and partner professional services to accelerate realization of business value. Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW’s leadership in cybersecurity. Invest in ongoing technical and professional development, participate in Solutions Consultant community and industry events. Identify technical stakeholders and build relationships with key personas to drive a security architecture transformation roadmap. Qualifications

6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering. Security Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures. Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred. Ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal. Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements. Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies. Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions. Experience in complex sales involving long cycles with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred. This is a field sales position with potential travel requirements; discuss specifics with the recruiter. Proficient in English. Additional Information
