Overview
Employment Attorney (Wage & Hour - Remote, High Earnings) – Litigation Attorney (Junior to Lead level) focused on Wage & Hour and PAGA. Remote-friendly with CA candidate considerations and potential for senior-level roles. Location & Status
Los Angeles, CA; remote candidates considered for CA residents with approximately monthly office visits. Open to mid-level to senior or senior supervisory attorneys with CA Wage & Hour and PAGA experience. Primary Responsibilities
Manage caseloads independently, overseeing cases from inception through resolution. Senior/Lead: supervise 1–3 associates, paralegals, and assistants; provide leadership and mentoring; coordinate team efforts; legal support is managed by another group. Draft and supervise motions and litigation strategy (e.g., remand motions, opposition to motions to compel arbitration, discovery motions). Develop and execute legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively. Conduct depositions and manage conferences; engage in meet and confer sessions to advance case objectives. Prepare for and participate in mediations; assist in negotiations to settle employment disputes on a class or individual basis when appropriate. Required Qualifications & Skills
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar. Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Minimum of two years of experience as a California attorney specializing in Wage & Hour and PAGA employment law. Strong analytical, research, and written/verbal advocacy skills; ability to manage multiple complex cases. In-depth knowledge of the California Labor Code and its application in litigation and client advisement. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $140,000 - $275,000 per year (top earners in the mid-to-high six figures; $600,000+ potential). Incentive: opportunity to earn a percentage of the firm\'s recovery on cases handled.
