A member of the brand leadership team who is critical in supporting brand strategy across Medical Marketing, HCP and Patient Marketing. Serves as the brand’s primary point of contact with key opinion leaders and critical customers, patients and families to drive core brand messages and gather critical insights in support of brand strategy. Cross functional conduit between HQ and the field to ensure connectivity and alignment across all customer facing functions. Acts as the link between HQ and the HCP, Patient and Advocacy community. Accountable for leading the team who orchestrates all commercial engagements with HCP and Patient/Family opinion leaders and brand ambassadors. Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of Field Medical Marketing professionals at various levels of seniority, fostering collaborative relationships with key healthcare experts while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Responsibilities

Lead brand planning and strategic development across HCP, Patient, and Field Medical Marketing initiatives; accountable for the brand plan for Field Medical Marketing. Transform field insights and real-world feedback into data-driven program enhancements to optimize campaign effectiveness and investments. Ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence in Advisory Board execution end-to-end; oversee the team responsible for execution. Align peer-to-peer/patient ambassador programs to brand strategy; build processes, SOPs, programs, tactics and other workstreams. Synthesize field-based market research to inform and validate brand strategy and present recommendations to commercial leadership. Additional Marketing Leadership Areas

Marketing Initiatives, Campaigns, and Investments: Lead campaigns and programs from concept to execution; manage agency relationships and ensure compliance through the promotional review process. KOL Engagement: Develop and guide thought leader engagement strategies; identify emerging opinion leaders and gather insights; manage national/international congress engagement. Patient Engagement: Develop patient ambassador and influencer programs; manage relationships with patients and caregivers; collaborate with Patient Advocacy teams; report on engagement insights and trends. Medical Marketing: Oversee Speaker Bureau management, strategic Medical Marketing initiatives, and content creation for peer-to-peer programs and related materials. Field Alignment: Maintain relationships with regional field teams to ensure consistent brand strategy execution; apply Field Playbook guidelines. Compliance: Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to adhere to guidelines and requirements. Leadership: Guide direct reports, manage agency operations, and foster continuous professional development. Requirements

BS/BA in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field with 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales experience (Master’s degree with 8+ years also acceptable). Therapeutic area experience preferred but not required. Strong communicator and diplomat with the ability to combine scientific knowledge with clear communication. Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions and compliance issues. Track record of cross-functional collaboration across medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, and corporate communications. Strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving, and creativity applied to product positioning and messaging. Ability to thrive in a changing environment and maintain strategic alignment for commercial success. Demonstrated enthusiasm, confidence, multi-tasking ability, and prioritization skills. Thought leadership through technical/business expertise; ability to solve complex problems and drive cross-functional initiatives. Mentorship and organizational impact awareness. Individual pay decisions depend on factors such as location, role complexity, duties, and experience. This position includes an annual bonus with a target of 35% of base, and participation in our equity-based long term incentive program. Benefits include retirement savings plan with company match, paid vacation/holiday/personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription, dental, vision).
