We are looking to add a
Sales and Events Manager
who will be responsible for revenue production for the hotel and our Rooftop Restaurant, The Nolen, and meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for occupancy and average daily rate. You will manage all areas of sales according to Island Hospitality Management and Brand Standards to achieve a professional rapport within the local business community. This position may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements
Job Requirements: Actively prospect and secure
room sales, group business, and rooftop buyouts
for The Nolen by developing creative packages, partnerships, and event concepts. Build strong community and corporate relationships to generate consistent
event and banquet revenue
while expanding our local presence. Develop and implement marketing and sales plans targeted to maximize
RevPAR, market share, and rooftop event sales . Understand competitor success in each demand segment and strategically position our hotel and rooftop against them. Maintain strong visibility with key accounts through
outside sales calls, property tours, rooftop showcases, and networking events . Collaborate with the Front Office, F&B, and Events teams to ensure group details, buyouts, and corporate directives are flawlessly executed. Prepare and present reports for the management team, focusing on
sales activity, event pipeline, and buyout conversions . Job Qualifications: A “Hands-On” Manager who thrives on
actively selling rooms, events, and rooftop buyouts
every day. Strong ability to prospect, pitch, and close business through outside sales efforts. Highly motivated self-starter with a track record of exceeding revenue goals in both rooms and event sales. Skilled at problem-solving and keeping service standards high during high-pressure situations such as large rooftop events. Approachable and visible to guests, clients, and team members while delivering exceptional service and building loyalty. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Training
