Help customers become more self-sufficient, stabilize and optimize Workday applications, and learn about new features
Collaborate effectively within a highly team-based environment and share expertise with customers
Respond to Ask-an-Expert requests by:
Conducting research to understand customer questions and Workday concepts
Delivering small-scope consulting with configuration guidance, demonstrations, tips and tricks
Troubleshooting product configuration to meet business requirements
Clearly and effectively communicate responses and value to customers
Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services that include:
Feature Adoption Workshops (facilitate customer Workday feature roadmap discussions)
Functional Review (Tenant Review with Consulting Services)
Health Check (Tenant Review with Cross Functional Consulting Services)
Additional Services delivered by our consultants:
Collaboration Crews (facilitate group customer sharing discussions)
Accelerator Webinars (creating and delivering customer presentations on Workday features)
Feature Accelerator (one-on-one consulting guidance to accelerate feature adoption)
Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews (reviewing customer tenants to identify adoption opportunities)
About You
Basic Qualifications - Senior Functional Consultant - Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects, or applicable practitioner deployment experience
5+ years of experience with Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking
3+ years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME
Other Qualifications Demonstrates a solid grasp of HR-related systems and processes; able to understand Workday concepts and new feature releases in Core HCM, areas of expertise and cross-application features
Certified or ability to certify in Workday HCM products and to effectively deploy solutions
Experience influencing, interacting with, and collaborating with senior leaders
Ability to lead design meetings toward effective outcomes
Ability to deliver and achieve results while managing to a project plan
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with global implementations is preferred
Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously
Strong critical thinking to understand complex, technical issues and facilitate decision making
Bachelors degree or related experience required
Ability to travel up to 10%
Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annual base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Pay ranges vary by location. The role may be eligible for bonuses or stock grants as part of total compensation. Compensation offers depend on geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need. For more information about Workday benefits, please see the official posting. Primary Location: USA. IL, Chicago. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $122,800 USD - $184,200 USD. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,100 USD - $197,300 USD.
