Essential Duties: Review financial data such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements; perform ratio analysis; evaluate management quality, market position, equipment appraisals, and borrower business plans to make recommendations regarding credit capacity. Analyze credit information from credit reporting agencies and other third-party sources to assess risk. Research and examine credit risks, assess borrower history, and provide sound recommendations to support extensions of credit. Prepare and present credit submissions to senior management when recommending approval. Conduct ongoing monitoring and verification of customers' credit quality through periodic reviews of financials, credit reports, and other required conditions. Monitor collateral values, valuation dates, and methodologies within company policy. Partner with processors to ensure loan documentation aligns with requirements outlined in credit authorizations. Identify and address issues requiring resolution prior to approval/funding. Serve as a backup resource for the app-only underwriter during PTO. Position Highlights:

Targeting candidates with 3-10 years of equipment finance experience. Must have the ability to spread and analyze financials, and support the underwriting function when needed. Potential future need for experience in warehouse line underwriting (borrowing base calculations, portfolio monitoring, and related activities). Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. 5+ years of commercial credit underwriting experience (preferably in the equipment finance industry). Skills & Knowledge:

Strong ability to analyze financial statements and tax returns. Solid understanding of business entity structures and their impact on financial condition. Knowledge of business lending, with specific expertise in Equipment Leasing and Vendor Finance. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within lending. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and financial analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated credit professional to join a bank-owned equipment finance company and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you are looking to take the next step in your credit career, we encourage you to apply.
