Job Description

Help lead deal negotiations to bring contracts tosigning/invoicing.

Provide Resellers with guidance for high-impact licensingand contract scenarios, including contract termination and third-party hosting.

Provide coverage for OOF MS employees, includingfinalizing contracts, closing pending deals, or leading licensing conversations.

Validate inquiries and interpret them against theproposed solution to ensure they are compliant, and the solution is withinMicrosoft policy, Sales Guidance, and Program Goals.

Support CEs/OMs by researching complex scenarios andproviding guidance to ensure additional documentation/amendments are submittedif needed.

Act as informal approving authority on deal scenarios.

Submit requests for empowerment approvals, including BD.

Ensuring MS Sales systems are updated.

Requirements/Trainings for this role (~3 mos worth oftraining)

Pitch-Perfect and MCP training modules

Deal strategy and negotiation skills

Value of selling key products and understanding MScompetition

Tools training of MSX and Cosmic

Volume Licensing Programs (EA, SCE, CSP, MPSA, MCA, SPLA,etc.) and positioning contracts + Pitching the Enterprise Agreement

In depth understanding of MS Product Terms, MicrosoftPolicy & Compliance, MS best practice, and OTRRR

Understanding resources and engagement, includingBusiness Desk (BD) and MS Financing Managing empowerment and constructing goodBD Business cases

Fixing Broken deals and routing post-salesissues/leveraging post-sales resources

Ongoing O365 trainings

Shadow MS Commercial Executives

Participation in CE Summits

Required Skills

2-5 years- experience in corporate operational or salesteam support services.

Background in Microsoft Licensing or relevant licensingexperience

Background working in or collaborating withMarketing/Sales knowledge and processes

Comfortable public speaking and presentation skills inhigh-pressure environments

Analytical skills; attention to detail; Methodicalmindset of problem solving

Intermediate level knowledge of Excel;

Able to recognize errors in own work and that of others;

Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, andcomfortable working in a quick turnaround environment, while maintainingaccuracy;

Ability to be a reliable, hands-on deliverer of qualityresults;

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)in English

Strong team-working skills with ability to workindependently;

Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and workingin an unstructured environment;

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously and drive projects to completion;

Excellence in being organized, proactive, and resultsoriented

Ability to quickly analyze and evaluate complex, nuanced,and multi-faceted problems, and determine next steps for execution
