A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Data Scientist to join their Decision Sciences team. The Data Scientist will contribute to the development of advanced credit risk decisioning tools for small - medium sized businesses. Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and maintain credit risk models and analytical tools that evaluate the creditworthiness of small business loan applicants.
• Source and aggregate data from both structured and unstructured formats, engineering innovative features for model enhancement.
• Closely monitor the performance of all deployed models, providing strategic recommendations aligned with Model Risk Management practices.
• Prepare detailed model documentation to meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product teams to effectively deploy models within cloud-based environment.
• Interact with stakeholders to offer expert advice on leveraging machine learning to accomplish business goals

Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's Degree is required - 5+ years of experience in Data Science - 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk Monitoring and Assessment - 3+ years AWS - 3+ years Python - 3+ years Machine Learning models - Experience with XGBoost machine learning methodology
