is an Alabama-based dermatology practice specializing in skin cancer surgery, reconstruction, and prevention, as well as medical dermatology. Led by Dr. Raj Patel, a double board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, the practice focuses on delivering the highest quality care with precision and confidence.
We are seeking an energetic, hard-working, dependable, and multi-tasking Medical Insurance Patient Services Representative who is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact.
The Call Center Representative/Patient Services Representative serves as a liaison between True Dermatology and its current and potential customers, assisting them by determining their needs; answering inquiries, resolving issues, fulfilling requests, and maintaining the designated database.
Essential Functions Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information. Determines client requirements by answering telephone calls, interviewing patients, and verifying information. Resolves problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved issues. Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information, completing transactions, and forwarding requests. Informs clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information. Maintains the call center database by entering information and keeping records of all conversations Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, recommending improved procedures. Maintains communication equipment by reporting problems. Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Meets personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets. Cover Front Desk as needed Other duties as assigned. Education -
This position requires completion of at least a High School Degree or equivalent.
Experience
- Has experience working in a Contact Center and familiarity with Medical Terminology.
Communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Style
- Must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed. Ability to analyze and interpret information, ability to interact and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
