Automotive Reconditioning Detail Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in preparing pre-owned vehicles for resale by performing thorough inspections, reconditioning tasks, and detailing work. Key Responsibilities
Perform
comprehensive vehicle inspections
to identify mechanical, cosmetic, and safety-related repairs. Carry out
reconditioning tasks
including light mechanical work, minor repairs, and general maintenance as needed. Detail and clean
the interior and exterior of used vehicles to dealership standards, and to get them prepared for the lot. Document all work performed and ensure proper handling of repair and maintenance logs. Work closely with service advisors, sales staff, and management to ensure timely turnaround of inventory. Maintain a
clean, safe, and organized work area , adhering to all company and safety policies. Communicate effectively with team members to report progress, delays, or concerns. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in
automotive detailing
or
vehicle reconditioning
preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with
light vehicle maintenance
tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and within a team in a
fast-paced environment . Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent time management. Why Join Us?
