Insight Global is seeking a Appian Developer to join their clients team remotely in India. This person will be helping rebuild an application from scratch in Appian that is currently in another tool.
Core Responsibilities: Proficiency in Appian Low-Code Platform Development
Ability to design, develop, and maintain business applications using the Appian platform. This includes expertise in process modeling, interface design, data management, and implementing business rules using Appian's low-code environment. Developers should be adept at leveraging Appian's out-of-the-box functionalities to create scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
Detailed Responsibilities: • Process Modeling: Designing and optimizing business workflows using Appian's process modeler. • Interface Design: Creating dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Appian SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer). • Integration Skills: Connecting Appian applications with external systems via web services (REST/SOAP), RPA, or other integration methods. • Data Management: Configuring and managing Appian data stores, entity relationships, and data synchronization. • Appian Expression Rules and Scripting: Writing and optimizing Appian expressions and scripts for business logic and automation. • Security and Access Control: Implementing user roles, permissions, and security best practices within Appian applications. • Testing and Debugging: Conducting unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Appian applications. • Agile Development Practices: Working in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, and using version control tools. • Documentation and Communication: Creating technical documentation and effectively communicating with stakeholders and team members • Oversee production automation processes and address failures through comprehensive root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience - Hands on Appian development experience o Most recent experience needs to be as an Appian developer. They currently have an application in another tool that they need to rebuild from scratch in Appian - Need to have operate experience o They need to understand how to fix problems or enhance code - Need good communication skills o This is not a head down role, they will be working with a team and directly with the Appian Architect consistently - Appian Associate Developer (active certification)
