We are seeking a certified registered nurse anesthetist specializing in anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Sep 29, 2025, and spans 240 days, providing operating room day coverage four to five days per week with shifts typically starting at 8am and ending once cases are completed. Ideal candidates will be comfortable providing anesthesia coverage in a dynamic surgical environment and able to credential quickly. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Sep 29, 2025 LOA: 240 days Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology Schedule: OR day coverage 4-5 days per week; shifts 8am to 4pm or later, with one OR open until 5pm and another until 7pm; leave once all cases are completed Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care for patients in the operating room setting Monitor and manage patients throughout surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety Prepare and administer anesthesia according to established protocols Ensure timely and accurate documentation of anesthesia care Maintain compliance with required anesthesiology board certifications and New York licensure Additional Information Current New York state license required Board certification in anesthesiology required Ability to credential within a short timeframe preferred OR and call experience necessary Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
