We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team at a leading NY hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after operations. About the Opportunity Schedule : Full time, 8- or 12-hour shifts On Call : Yes Specialty : Anesthesiologist Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels as needed throughout procedures. Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent). Valid New York State medical license (or eligibility to obtain). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
