Position: Customer Service Representative
Wage: $16/hour
Location: Elkader, IA

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and chats in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist customers with product information, order processing, account updates, and service inquiries.
• Resolve customer complaints with empathy, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Document customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in company systems.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and policies.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer satisfaction and company processes.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and common office software; experience with CRM systems is a bonus.
