City Light & Power (CLP) is a company at the forefront of the modern-day electric utility industry. We are a Subcontractor for a major utility provider in Southern California. We’re looking to expand our administrative support team at our Long Beach location with someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
The Administrative Assistant will support daily operational needs, with a focus on scanning, filing, and document preparation for field execution and compliance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with various teams to ensure timely and accurate administrative processing.

The Administrative Assistant will support daily operational needs, with a focus on scanning, filing, and document preparation for field execution and compliance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with various teams to ensure timely and accurate administrative processing.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Collect and scan completed paperwork packages from General Foremen and ensure accurate digital filing.
- Organize and store completed physical work packages (banker boxes) and maintain the warehousing filing log.
- Print outage and dig alert documents and insert them into FM work packages for scheduled work.
- Track and manage office supply inventory and submit requests to the Upland administrative team
- Scan and digitally file material buyout documentation.
- Provide general administrative support as assigned by the Office Manager
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and digital filing abilities
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
- Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Outlook preferred
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently.
- Strong customer service mindset and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- You must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Hourly payrate: $20.00 to $24.00 based on experience.
