CGI is hiring: Senior Data Analyst in Great Falls Crossing

Overview

Senior Data Analyst role at CGI. This position is based in Reston, VA with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business needs with technical solutions by gathering and analyzing user requirements
• Translate requirements into actionable database and ETL specifications
• Ensure data integrity through rigorous testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and issue resolution

Required Qualifications

• Strong command of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its application in data projects
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for ETL and database development
• Proficiency in SQL and other database querying tools
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings and documenting business processes
• Skilled in test planning and execution; familiarity with tools like HP Quality Center or Mercury Quality Center
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities without compromising quality or timelines
• Professional certifications in data analysis, database management, or software development are a plus
• 8+ years of experience in software development or data analysis roles with a track record of handling complex, large-scale projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $121,200.00.
