Overview

Receptionist at Sharetec is the first point of contact for visitors and callers. We believe in the talent of our workforce and in delivering powerful technology to credit unions and their members. This is a full-time (40 hours) non-exempt position based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The salary for this role is $15.40/hour and is benefits eligible.

As a Receptionist, your primary responsibility is to greet visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate individuals or departments, creating a positive and professional impression of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to.
  • Answering incoming phone calls, providing information, taking accurate messages, and transferring calls to the appropriate individual or department. Accurately documenting all customer contacts in Salesforce.
  • Managing correspondence, including incoming and outgoing mail, email, and faxes.
  • Providing administrative support such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Serving as a point of information for visitors and callers by sharing basic details about the company, products, services, or location.
  • Handling occasional special requests from visitors or staff, such as arranging meals, transportation, or other travel-related needs, and providing general assistance as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role utilizing a multi-line phone system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school education
