DC – Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling
Pay: $20-$30/hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, lighting systems, control panels, and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to optimize electrical operations.
• Document maintenance and repair work through detailed logs and reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and suggest ways to enhance electrical systems or safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
