Job Description:

We’re recruiting an HR Operations Generalist, who will ensure a smooth and efficient execution of all employee transactions in Workday. You will provide hands-on support to employees while collaborating with HC colleagues on onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and other HR processes. Your efforts will ensure seamless experiences for hires, exits, moves, and other employee lifecycle events, both within and outside our HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Workday & HR Systems Management: Process hires, exits, transfers, and other employee data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across Workday, Greenhouse, and related systems.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate and guide new hires and exiting employees through HR processes for a seamless transition and positive experience.
  • Document Verification & Compliance: Collect and validate work authorization, visa documents, and other required paperwork while ensuring adherence to local labor laws.
  • Background Checks & Follow-ups: Conduct pre-employment and compliance-related background checks and manage any discrepancies or required actions.
  • Position Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate position data, run reports, and analyze operational metrics to support HR decision-making.
  • HR Process Expertise & Improvement: Serve as a subject matter expert for AMER Human Capital Operations, documenting and optimizing HR processes for efficiency.
  • Employee Support & Collaboration: Assist employees with HR queries and data updates, while working closely with regional HR teams to ensure consistent practices.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within financial services or professional services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and employment regulations across the Americas.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems, including Workday, Greenhouse ATS, and ServiceNow.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
