Marshall Investigative Group (MIG), the industry's leading investigative firm, is seeking a meticulous and organized Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to support our growing team. The HRC will play a key role in coordinating HR functions, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance/licensing, and maintaining accurate personnel records to ensure a professional and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (Associate’s Degree with relevant experience will be considered).
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and applicable employment laws.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems - ADP preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) in Illinois.

General Duties

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee files, records, and HR databases.
  • Oversee Form I-9 compliance and processing, ensuring accurate and timely completion of employment eligibility verification.
  • Maintain the Private Investigator License database to ensure all field agents hold valid and up-to-date licenses.
  • Provide communication to current employees regarding Private Investigator License renewals.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee inquiries, and open enrollment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects assigned.
  • Function as a resource for employees and management for HR-related inquiries.

Pay Scale: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
