Excellent Full-Time Position! Pay: $20.90/hour • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM • Assignment Length: 6-Month Contract

Overview

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cafeteria Barista to join our onsite team in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves preparing Starbucks beverages, operating a point-of-sale system, and supporting general front-of-house duties within a cafeteria setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Starbucks drinks following standardized recipes
• Process customer transactions accurately using a POS system
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle cash, gift cards, vouchers, and credit card payments
• Maintain accurate daily balances and follow cash-handling procedures
• Restock and rotate front-of-house items (some light lifting required)
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
• Maintain composure and efficiency during busy periods

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid California Food Handler's Card
• Ability to make exact change and manage cash transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Ability to follow simple instructions and standardized procedures
• Comfortable standing for extended periods (minimum of 1.5 hours)
• Experience in food service, especially in a cafeteria or fast-paced setting, preferred
