Responsibilities

• Mount, assemble and perform checks on all products as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
• Weld and flame-cut as required.
• Read blueprints, schematics and written instructions.
• Ensure quality of installation and repairs of the work performed.
• Repair and service products as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
• May perform road service and repairs.
• May assist or operate dielectric test equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment as required and properly test equipment.
• Furnish own hand tools as directed by the Company.
• Provide quality and timely workmanship on each work order.
• Use impact wrenches and hand tools to bolt components onto mobile hydraulic equipment and assemble components onto mobile equipment.
• Maintain daily time records on each job assigned and perform re-work as required.
• Follow all established safety policies and practices.

Qualifications

• Some high school or equivalent and/or vocational and/or prior job experience in mechanical welding and hydraulics.
• Welding and mechanical knowledge; ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs, push 50-100 lbs and carry 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and diagrams.
