Overview

Cordoba Corporation is seeking an IT Technical Support II to support our Facilities Sector in Los Angeles, California. This position follows established procedures to troubleshoot, coordinate, and resolve systems or related incidents. The role involves initial analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of events, communicating production outages/incidents, and expediting resolution. The role also includes staff onboarding and offboarding support and providing helpdesk-related IT support for the Airport Development Group.

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming customer emails to the Help Desk
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues following established procedures
  • Analyze, determine, and document reported production outages/incidents
  • Determine severity, impact, and nature of incidents; escalate as needed
  • Communicate clearly with other team members
  • Submit tickets for new service or application requests in Freshdesk, IT Service-Now, and other related tracking applications
  • Complete onboarding or offboarding functions for staff
  • Perform hardware and software installations
  • Oversee deployments and relocations of staff at various locations within the airport footprint
  • Provide IT support at division-wide sponsored events
  • Provide on-the-job training to new department staff
  • Provide computer orientation to new staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • 10 years or more experience
  • PC hardware troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve hardware component failures (motherboards, power supplies, memory, storage); capable of upgrades, replacements, configurations
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance: Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11); apply security patches, system updates, and driver updates
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite: deploying, troubleshooting, and user support for standalone and Microsoft 365 versions; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate task status to clients and management
  • Effective oral and written communication; ability to explain complex issues to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work with others; self-starter with results-driven focus
  • Experience managing data coordination and conversion projects
  • May assume additional duties as required
  • May be required to work past regular hours or various shifts as needed
  • Candidate must have access to a company vehicle or be willing to use their personal vehicle

Salary Range: $90,640 to $103,000 per year
