About the Team The Global Legal team provides legal guidance to OKX and its affiliated entities across coverage areas and geographies, supporting business growth by collaborating with all teams. OKX is based in San Jose, California, with customers worldwide and offices in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Our team has attorneys around the world and handles matters across hundreds of countries. About the Opportunity As an Associate General Counsel in the Marketing Practice Group, you will report to the Head of the practice group and collaborate with the Global Legal team and business leaders. You will be based in either San Francisco or San Jose, in-office three days a week with two remote days. The right candidate will have a basic understanding of and enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency/digital asset space, relevant litigation and regulatory experience at a top law firm or in-house, strong academic credentials, and excellent writing and analytical skills. Experience in financial services, cryptocurrency/digital assets, financial services regulation, and securities laws is preferred. Support the business in a wide range of legal coverage areas, including marketing and advertising, product promotion and development, global regulatory matters, token listings, and contract negotiation. Collaborate with a global team of attorneys supporting the Company’s growth, local markets, and marketing/advertising departments. Manage outside counsel and interpret legal advice to align with the firm’s business development plans and risk tolerance. Assist the team’s litigation and regulatory practice group on global regulatory matters and inquiries when necessary. Collaborate with product and business development teams to achieve company-wide projects and goals. Manage legal requests from all areas of the business and advise on legal concepts and risk with an eye toward strategic business goals. What We Look For In You

Active membership with a state bar (CA preferred) or eligibility to practice in California as in-house counsel. Resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. Litigation and regulatory experience at a top-tier firm or in-house, preferably in financial services or crypto. Experience advising on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology legal issues or strong interest and knowledge in the field. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage, multi-cultural environment. Ability to advise and build trust with business teams. Ability to navigate a rapidly-changing legal landscape and manage ambiguity. Capability to work effectively within a high-functioning legal team and collaborative environment. Nice to Haves

The salary range for this position is $143,111 - $214,666 The salary offered depends on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
