Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Sr. Fullstack Engineer
for a
contract
assignment with one of our premier
SaaS
clients in San Jose, CA
. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities
: Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, NextJS, Java, and Spring Boot. Develop user interfaces in TypeScript, CSS, and use tools such as WebPack and ESLint. Design, implement, and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support dynamic and scalable front-end experiences. Build and deploy scalable and secure solutions on AWS, leveraging services like RDS, S3, and event frameworks. Work with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optionally NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB). Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies. Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

Skills
:
3+ years of experience in full-stack development. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and NextJS. Experience with TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, and Jest in modern web development workflows. Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment practices. Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design. Familiarity with version control systems (Git), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Familiarity with Ruby code bases. Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana. Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience designing elegant user interfaces.
