Job Summary:
The Finance Director will oversee utility billing processes, payroll management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. This role includes directing and preparing all accounting transactions, maintaining, and investing all City funds, and ensuring the completion of required financial reports for the City and its various enterprises.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with a minimum of five years of experience in governmental accounting. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
